Day started off pretty good. I did my yoga, meditation and filled out my journal for EA Active. All in all everything was going well until… I was starting to get the kids dressed and was thinking that I was going to take us all out to the park before it was supposed to rain but I suddenly felt a very familiar pain in my head. That’s right my friend the migraine decided to show up to ruin the rest of my day. So while I was hoping to have accomplished more today it didn’t happen. I have spent a good portion of the day with my sunglasses on, trying to keep my food down. It was a staunch reminder to me that taking time to rest is a very important part of working out.
As far as my lupus and fibro I don’t really have any major pain to speak of so that is a very good thing. With the exception of the migraine my day was pretty good. It was nice that after having worked out 3 days in a row I wasn’t in immense pain. There is part of me that is ecstatic and saying that this is so wonderful it must mean that my lupus is starting to back off and then there is the other part of me. That part is sitting here just waiting for the other shoe to drop. That part keeps saying that there is no way that this can last since I haven’t seen a doctor in so long. It’s really hard to not be pessimistic in these situations and I am trying.
But now that my migraine is starting to fade I am hopeful that tomorrow will be a better day. I am going to go find something to make for dinner for the family and I will see you all again tomorrow.
