27 JulThe things they say

Caelyn is me. She is extremely spirited and curious with a flare for the dramatic and an extra helping of attitude. Yesterday was an interesting day with this little one. For starters she was quite whiny and decided that everything was hers. At some point George had to go out to pick up a few things and she and Kevyn were both playing fine. Then I had a couple of conversations with her that… well, you’ll see

Conversation 1:

(Caelyn digging through a box)

Me: Whatcha up to?

Caelyn: Nuffin

Me: You looking for something?

Caelyn:(still rummaging) Nope

Me: Ok

Caelyn:Found it. (comes to me and hands me wipes and a diaper) Here. (lays down in front of me)

Me: Do you need a diaper change?

Caelyn: Yeah, dats why i give oo da diaper

Conversation 2:

Me: Caelyn you want some pretzels for a snack?

Caelyn: No fank oo

Me: Are you sure?

Caelyn: I SED NO FANK OO

(I sit down with a handful of pretzels)

Caelyn: Watcha got dere?

Me: Pretzels

Caelyn:I have some peese?

That’s so cute! Although I imagine it’s gets frustrating after a while. But at least she tells you when she needs a diaper change. Ty never did and Jeanna just recently started, but only when it’s dirty, not wet. So many people told me girls were easier to potty train than boys, but she seems to be the exception.

Good luck, looks like you have your hands full!
