04 Augrandom night time wonderings: 1

I have found that frequently at night, shortly after my evening medication starts to take affect, I have these random thoughts. Some times it’s pointless crap that I just forget about within a few minutes but sometimes it is stuff that really make me wonder and every once in a while it will stick with me. So I decided to start blogging such thoughts. Maybe you all can help me sort through it. So here is the thought tonight:

Here’s something that has been on my mind lately. How often should anyone update a blog? I try my hardest to update every day, and I usually fall short on that but I know a few bloggers that update several times during the day. Not saying that’s a bad thing. I think if you have that much to write about and can write it well go for it. But is there a limit to that? At what point are you blogging too frequently? When does it change from blogging to micro blogging?

I’m a fan of once-a-day as a maximum for a personal blog. Anything more frequent should be on Twitter.

After all, I find it hard to keep up even doing once a day. I’m trying to stockpile posts so I can keep publishing fresh content. It’s not working.
