Who am I? Well, the name is Lara. I am a twenty-something mom to three children.
My kids are 7 , 3 and 2. Oh yeah… I also have Systematic Lupus Erythmatosus. For those of you without a medical degree this is more commonly known as Lupus.
From day to day I struggle with my disease and still try to do my job as a mom and wife. There are times where I am in so much pain that I can barely get out of bed and other days I feel as if I were 17 again and have no pain or worries. I wish those days were more frequent but such is life. Recently I found it important for me to prioritized my life. When I did this I realized that I have so much to fight for and that I had to find ways to keep myself going… so here I am. Ready and willing to share my story with the world.
My kids are my angels, they keep me going, without them I would not be here.
My husband is a constant source of strength, without him I would forget who I am.
